Not nearly as much online as i should have been…

Looking back over the last few weeks, actually months, i spent considerably less time online than intended. This partly is due to my job which on some days is kinda eating up all my energy, and when coming home i am way to knackered to turn on the computer and root through emails, tickets, forums and websites. Don’t get it wrong, i love what i am doing right now job-wise but the circumstances i have to work in or under are somewhat less than perfect i tell you.Besides the job there is the dog that wants to be entertained and be taken for walkies.

Then there are the occasional free installations, the volunteer support job at 000webhost.com, Premium-Hosts, emails, hours-long VoIP calls to DK, more mails and to top the day off more mails again. My typical day looks pretty much like this:

• get up at 4:30 or 5:00 am
• brew coffee
• whilce coffee is brewing take the dog for its morning walk
• 5:30 am <- back from the walk, ready to sip my coffee
• 6:30am  -> get ready for work
• 8:00am -> work
• 4:45pm -> finishing
• 6:00pm -> home
• 6:05pm -> take dog for a longer walk
• 7:45pm -> back home and eating
• 8:00pm -> Wtf? Why am i so tired hehe
• at some point between 11pm-1pm -> time for bed

Inbetween those times i try to be as much online as possible, but the job deffo cuts into my online time the most. Quitting is not an option really, so i guess i won’t be online much during the day in the future but i try to be online as much during the evenings. On top of the above come other things like the VPS lobrc and me are setting up right now (where i would like to take the chance to say thanks to lobrc for all the work and effort he put into this site and anything else connected to it).
